Golden Star Contractors are eligible to request No-Dollar-Limit (NDL) warranties up to 20 years in duration. They must carry workers compensation and liability insurance coverage. They must be properly licensed according to the regulations in force governing commercial roofing contractors in their markets. They must operate in accordance with the CertainTeed Golden Star Contractor Program Statement of Principles. They must have been in business at least five years. They must submit a company credit history and be credit-worthy based on CertainTeed's sole determination. Golden Star Contractors must have a minimum of $1 million bonding capability or the financial resources and experience to acquire that capability.
The Golden Star Contractor credential is subject to review at any time and is valid through the date entered, subject to eh terms and conditions of the credential.
